if you're just cruisin nothin is "wrong" with the stock ones, its just a much more enjoyable cruise IMO with some better ones.

I would generally stay away from Sector stock parts they are pretty terrible; the wheels are all but useless. I've not ridden this board-but I've tried a fair few Sec9s and its always the same; the wheels and the trucks are the weak points. Before you buy it...just give the deck a really good once over: sometimes Sec9s quality control seems to go on Holiday.

i agree with what most are saying. it says it comes with the 8.75 missions, but for a deck that big i'd say something more along the lines of 180 paris's. and since they're out now, try and get ahold of the 74mm race formula 9balls. i've heard pretty good things about the new formula wheels.

I started on this deck and am definitely not crazy about it. Really didn't care for the significant concave at the front of the board. I really feel like there's better options out there. But for strictly cruising, it won't make much of a difference.

just promise that you will buy at least one real board before you give up the sport.

what could be a better board? it's hard to get boards that aren't S9 here.. or at least i don't know where to get other brands.

I'd recommend looking around on milehighskates.com and thelongboardstore.com (I'm partial to milehighskates). Plenty of selection from these internet retailers. Free shipping if you're going to buy a complete. Find something you might be interested and run a few searches on the forum for info on a set-up. I think there's much more value to be had than the set-up you had mentioned.

You should ask your local shop to carry other brands.
