Why aren't there any bearings out there made of stainless steel? They don't rust and are pretty tough. I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this, so what is wrong about the idea?

I'm pretty sure they are aren't they? Or some of them are. Stainles steel isn't truly stainless though you know. They should make bearings with like a sacrificial anode or something like that I think

SS is a bad choice for bearings because it's softer than what's normally used.
