Default Finding the 'Magic Truck' Spot

Decided to tighten/check my Trucks and wheels today - now I find that even after loads of tightning/loosening and testing I cannot find that 'Magic Truck' spot where the turning is just right. Anyone have any tips on how to get your trucks just right without loads of turning and testing?

Also, as for screwing the trucks to the deck should the screws be tightened as much as possible, or be a little bit loose. With my shortboard I tightened them up so much that it caused the risers to warp and practically melt, but they were crap risers.

I don't really know any other Longboarders who live near me, so I apologise if I keep bringing my probably completly noobish questions the the Fish!!

yep its just one of those things you need to find for yourself,
its a combo of bushings and tightness, wheels to depending on how much traction you have can make a difference , so sorry theres no magic recipe,, I wish

    keep try`n.

you will find it,,, you also have to factor in your weight/leverage, but I supose that comes with the bushing choice,

    I don't think I've ever found a setting that's always right either.

But I do think that with practice you'll get quicker at dialing a board in.

The trucks should be mounted tight to the deck, but do not overtight.

The magig spot depends a lot on the speed you ride. Old bushings loose their rebound and the spot will vanish. And remember - there is always a sweeter spot.

I have a "magic spot". It's called loose as ####. That usually last without touching it for weeks to months, then it get loose as holy #### - ####. Then i just get used to that, and thus i have a new magic spot.

Isn't it great being the adaptive humans we are?.....oh wait.
