    Question Pads Question

As I'm just starting longboarding I'm definitely investing in a helmet and pads. When it comes to the pads, looking locally (though I haven't checked skateshops yet) I found some firefly pads for about $40 (knee, elbow and wrist). Just curious as to if these actually do the trick, or are they just a waste of money?

    Thanks

Never heard of them, but alot of us older guys would recommend getting the best you can afford, make sure they fit right, and actually wear them.
Your age and weight, and style of skating may also effect your choice.
