flipping the hanger on bear grizzlys

alright, so my friend and i like to go fast. and we both want to know about flipping the hanger, im sure there are already threads about this but i just want to start one of my own. what do you like the best...regular, front flipped back regular, front regular back flipped, or both flipped.

please tell me what you have heard/experienced with any of these combinations

depends on what type of board they are going on. but if youve just got 52 plates on both filip both hangers regardless. just play around figure out what you like.

My friend tried flipping his trucks and when he flipped the back and not the front the board did't turn (we didnt try front flipped back regular) so if I were u I wouldn't even think about those just try reg and both flipped.

more stability (ie like maguns) flip both.

for more carve/easier turn, dont flip 'em.

I have an 09 hellcat with grizzly 852 and venom barrels (93 back, 90 front). I flipped the hangers and its awesome. The board gets really close to the ground. However, flipping the hanger did cause the bushing cups to dig into it, and venom barrels are pretty thick, not really a problem just though I'd let you know. I don't get why you ask though, its not like it costs anything to try (provided you have tools)

take your hanger off, turn them over, put them back on. it changes the way your bushings compress.

edit: and gab, just run flat washers.

if your going to do DH then flip both hangers
if not don't

how do they get flipped

its the part that the wheel go on. take the nut off the kingpin (where the bushings are) and you can slide off the hanger and turn it over.
