    Question landyachtz evo

I am thinking of getting a landyachtz evo for my first dh board. I also want a good board for cruising and i have heard the landyachtz evo was good for cruising and dh. I was considering the bear grizzlies and the lime or pink bigzigs. Any feedback or suggestions are much appreciated.

Um, if you like pushing around a heavy ass board, go for it, other wise, look at the new EW speedboard which will come out soon. It will be super light, and somewhat affordable.

I have a flushcut, and love it, so look at some kebbeks.

by the way, Welcome to the 'fish!

thats what i have as my first DH board and i love it! very stable for DH and i like it while cruising because it is so low and its weight hasnt been a problem for me. btw great choice with bears (make sure you get 52/40*) and lime bigzigs. enjoy!

My evo gets used mainly for dh only, but when I do ride it around town I havn't found the weight to be too much of an issue, ever since I changed out those red khiro bushings in the stock bear 1052's to orange barrels/blue insert. Turns like a mother (with some speed). The dropped deck however does seem to like to have some speed before its playfulness comes out. All in all a great downhill board, and a fairly good freeride.

If all you are doing is pleasure cruising however, i would definatly suggest a different style/setup of board.

If you read my above post I was mostly pointing out that the hellcat is a good carver with the right setup. It turns better than the evo will, since the back of the evo is dewedged, but the evo can still be set up to carve decently.
