Bear truck 1040vs1052

I know its a stupid question but I don't know the difference between the 1040 and the 1052 trucks. If somebody could tell me and what they like about them and just give me a general opinion that would be great thanks.

ummm the 1040's are more stable but they are much less agile
the 1052's are much more agile plus you can flip the hangar on them and make them as stable as the 40's

i would say go with the 52

you can make the 52 a thirtysomething. its much more versitile get that one

I don't think so, I thought it was with the 52 degree plates it was either 57degrees or 47 degrees. And with the 40's it was either 45 or 35 degrees. The plate itself is 40 degrees or 52 degrees and the hangar +/- 5 degrees.

MJ is right.
I have the 40s my friend has the 52's (both 8mm though, only difference is in weight and strength. i should also mention that we ride identical setups minus the angle of our base plates), there is some difference in turning and stability but in my opinion they feel almost the same, the biggest difference seems to be in ride height. the 40s and a good 1.5 cm lower.
