    Exclamation Is it necessary to clean bearings before lubing them?

    I'm a little curious.. do I have to clean bearings with mineral spirit or something of the sort before lubing it with Bones Speed Cream?

    You don't have to, but if you don't, you're lubing dirt.

    I don't have any mineral spirit on me, will cleaning with only 99% Alcohol work?
