    Default Hellcat vs Nemesis

i want to get into some downhill racing. i'm still kinda a beginner at longboarding. i need a board that will bomb hills but i will also be using it as transportation in the summer. which one is a good board for both.

    These are all my opinions:
Hellcat is a great DH deck, and is also awesome at commuting, while the Nemesis is a so-so DH deck, and awesome for commuting, so I would say go Hellcat with some new Randals or Bear Grizzlies and bigzigs/Seismic wheels/Superballs

The hellcat is an extremely versatile deck. I haven't tried the nemesis but if it's anything liek the demonseed, it won't let you down either.

i have a hellcat, its my designated commuter/light downhill board.i love it as far as commuting goes, its nimble enough to dodge crap but stable enough you wont have to footbreak the big hills.

    can't go wrong with both

I have hellcat and I will buy it again if I have to.

Nemesis is more recent, 2008 board.

    Both Great RAYNE boards.

ive actually heard the opposite. people have told me that they like it better for carving than downhill. i agree with the good for transportation cause of dropped but the hellcat is a drop thru so they are both about the same height. the best thing you could do is try both and see which one you like better (although the nemesis is new so it will be hard to find, in that case you could try topmounting and jimz or dseed.)
