    Default Landyachtz Battle Axe

Landyachtz new freeride board looks like it could have alot of good qualities.
I havent really heard any first hand accounts of it though.
Does anyone know whats up with that?
They have it at my local longboard shop and it looks wonderful, the concave edges are a really prevalent feature on the board.
    Im thinking about buying it.
The only thing is that im afraid its thickness might make it too cumbersome for flatland travel.
Which i would want to be able to do along with slaloming, which im sure it could handle.

    Advice?

my friend just bought one. its great. he has it set up with bear 852s, with the back one flipped. red khiro cone bottons stock bottom indy bushings on top. super fun and swoopy. i have noticed nothing negative about the thickness. definately stbale up to around 35-40mph id say.

    Thanks bro.
That sounds like a nice ride.
I was thinking about throwing a couple of gullwing chargers on there though.
Ive only had good experiences with them on friends boards, and ive been using randalls/parises up to this point and kinda want to switch it up.
And how are those Khiro bushings working out for your friend?
I havent had a chance to put them on any of my boards yet but i heard theyre a dream.

    Yeah man,
the new drop hammer looks amazing.
Its like exactly the battle axe but shortened.
    I love Landyachtz graphics too.

the red hardness in my opinion has a dissappointing lack of rebound, but the blue nd softers feel sweet. the reds are fine but them paired up with a higher rebound bushing significantly improves the ride.

    Oh ok cool,
so would you reccomend the blue khiro paired with a red?
    or all blue or what.

Sorry about all the questions but up until now ive just used straight randall bearings on all my boards.
So im not too familiar with how soft Khiro makes theirs.

for the battle axe id say put some red cones on bottom and get some yellow bones hardcore bottoms on top. should be great.

Bears are some good quality, versatile trucks. They're the only kinda trucks I've ridden, but I've pretty much only heard good things.

I know I'm kinda bumping an old thread, but would this board hold up 250 lbs for carving and mild DH?
