    Default Bustin Sojourn

Anyone out there had any experience with this new board they offer? Debating between the spliff and sojourn, so I just want to see.

I've rode it a few times. Held it in my hand with and with out trucks/wheels. And I just ordered one...so what's the question?

I really like the Spliff, it's been out for a bit and it's an established ride, but the Sojourn looks oh so tempting....

What are you planning to use the board for anyway? depending on your disciplines one or the other might be better suited for you.

Using either board for all around cruising, some smaller hills, late night gas station runs, and some commuting.

The tail on the Soujourn makes it really different than the Spliff. Also a lot easier to use in the city because you can kick turn it.

Less flexy than the Spliff. Over all both boards have a place, but I think for more aggressive riding the Soujourn wins out. Spliff is more fun for cruising and carving IMHO.

It's fun as hell. Using the shorter wheelbase with the 180mm Randals is pure fun. Even though it's relatively short at 33", the wheel base is long for it's size and it is wide enough that you can use 180mm trucks. You can carve it sooooo deep it's sick. Plus it's nimble as hell.

I haven't tried it yet with the longer wheelbase though.

The only downside is this is my wifes board. So Ummm I'm not going to really get to ride it a lot. =/

It pumps very well. Especially with the back truck mounted with the longer wheelbase. I just switched it out yesterday and realized I like it better that way.

I guess EW won't have to make their mini-superglider anymore...

Looks like a great little deck.

looks very much like a timeline with a kick. which would be sweet. also looks like the front is going to get massive wheelbite with soft bushings.

I have 66mm wheels on there now. Trucks are 180mm. So far, no wheel bite. I've carved and pumped it pretty hard. But it could happen.

And I think if EW was really going to make a "Mini-glider" they still should. The materials are so different, the boards of these two respective companies feel nothing alike, regardless of similar shape.

Hmmm... would you say that 75mm big zigs would not fit on this board?

Hard to say, but I have a set of 76mm EW Superballs on hand. I'll throw them on and find out, they are similar enough.

    String,

Tell me more about the board, your thoughts, how it rides... how does the bamboo respond?

I'm dying to get my board and it won't be here until next week.

    Thanks.
