Longboarding Resources & Q/AGet or give friendly, patient answers to, "Which board should I get?", "How do I stop?" or "What's wedging and how do I do it?"
No negative rep sounds good because when my brothers don't notice that I'm signed in they post as me. Now I have 3 or 4 negative rep's that aren't even my fault.
[HamsterChucker360] 10:45 pm: the corchia is perfect in everyway
[HamsterChucker360] 10:45 pm: i even told jessica corchia that, i said "its perfect for me"
[circle] 10:45 pm: dervish, doesnt it not have pockets after the kicktails
[HamsterChucker360] 10:46 pm: idk stood on it in like may
[boarderaholic] 10:46 pm: i wonder how creeped out she was by that comment...
[HamsterChucker360] 10:49 pm: dont sig that, just sig i like dicks
I think Neg rep is kind of neccessary, it tells people when they're out of line etc. I know people will be looking for revenge, but as enemy stated, the spread more rep around prevents that person from really affecting your rep.

Sure negative rep's necessary. Its not all stoke-filled candy canes and rainbow flavored hearts in internetlund, people just sometimes gotta get knocked down a peg.
As for using rep as opposed to post-whoring; if you have something decent and intelligent to add to the conversation (I agree.. because... and this makes me feel...), go for it; but simply "agree"ing is precisely why the rep function was implemented.

It's actually not even possible to neg rep some one every post they make. At least not by the same user over and over again.
As stated above, you will get the "you must spread some rep around before you give to XXXX again."
On a side note, speaking of rep and good times to use it. I wish that folks would start using positive rep, instead of posting, when they find something some one has said to be humorous.
"LOL, good one!" is not a post...it's post whoring. Same goes for the infamous, "I agree," posts. No need for them, if you agree, give them some rep.
thats pretty much what I do, i'd rep you for it, but it says I can't give you any.....oh well
