This board has taken a huge beating and the only damage so far is a razor tail . For such a thin board, these things appear bulletproof
Streetheap do you have any pictures of yours? I want to see what it looks like with the rails and the nose bone.

Re: Official Superglider Army Setup Thread
Been tweaking since I posted upthread, so....
Trucks: Indy 149 hangers, Core plates (still)
Bushings (make, model, color/duro): Black JimZ bottoms, Venom 85a cones top, f/b
Risers (lowerers'): Khiro soft wedges, f/b (thanks, BUboarder--you were right)
Wheels (make, model, size, duro): 66mm 82a Superballs (it's like they were made for this board )
Bearings: Swiss 6 (still)
Riding Style (cruising, carving, downhill eek!): same
Riding Terrain (park, street, garage): same
Other wheels used: same
Miscellaneous: New life for the old warhorse. The jimz/venoms work great together--the snap of the venoms making up for the squish of the jimz, but still super stable bombing/carving at speed and absorbs the road like a suspension system. Flat washers under the jimz, but found that TVAR's right: his bushings seem to work better with cups. Started running my trucks max loose (and I'm fattening up a bit) so I was getting wheel scrape (just took off paint) with 70mm ptangs and 1/4" risers. No worries now. And better acceleration!

How did you fit the Khiro Barrels into the 169's?

good question, because now i'm wondering if somehow i managed to get them in wrong...it seems like people aren't able to/shouldn't be able to fit them in w/o modifying the KP, which i didn't do
i'll take a pic if i remember to in the next couple days. they're just regular barrel sets, the big fat one and the little conical...not barrel/barrel fyi
EDIT: oh look, i found a picture i'd already taken. sorry it's not really zoomed in on the trucks, but it's all i've got

are the bushings in upside-down? the "top" one is the conical, in this case white, and the "bottom" one is the barrel, orange

I prefer wider. I just like wide boards and/or wide trucks. I think it's because I like to skate above my abilities.... The same, you just gotta push funny, and run your shiit looser/softer to get a quick lean. Not really the reason I flip my offset wheels, just trying to even up the wear.

The Nosebone is made by Powell, and can be had at most any online retailer who are official Powell distributors (they get 'em free from Powell at Christmas time, along with an official Powell fruitcake, -McGill). And, yes, I love her.

Drunk is good.
You see correctly. I've run it with Tracker StreetTracks and QuickTracks (Aggros), which much to my delight, come drilled OldSchool only.

That's probably nothing to applaud. Getting drunk, yes.
Having a bitch as an ex, no.
