Re: Official Superglider Army Setup Thread
Cool, that looks much better than the previous verson IMO, even my small feet found the old version a bit narrow. I smell success.

Re: Official Superglider Army Setup Thread
What's the width of the new Glider? I always wanted one, but my big ol' size 13 feet would not let me make the purchase!
Pumpin' about on my LBL and pushin' about on my Widerglider.

Re: Official Superglider Army Setup Thread
god, that shape looks good. i can only imagine how nice the final product will be.
i wonder if there'll still be some wedge in the front . or if i could still use my indy 149's that i bought in anticipation of the new 'glider

I'm pretty stoked about the new widerglider.. but to be honest the riser on the MHS complete sorta breaks my heart.
anyways, seeing how wide it is, I'm pondering getting some 215 frankentrucks with the complete. any thoughts?

i'm hoping the riser gets smaller once the final board comes in with wheel wells. mark just let me know that this will probably end up happening.
and about the 215's, i think streetheap would like the idea (last time i checked, he ran 215's up front on the last superglider).
the axle on the 215 is 10 inches, which surpasses the width of the widerglider by .5 inches. With offset wheels, them things'll be flaring out, and pushing may need a little precaution. but some people don't seem to mind.
i'll be thinking about this all day. funny how mark times his bearing upgrade specials perfectly so that i lose my mind =P.
also, if anyone has any input, zigs vs. road rage?? haven't searched yet, so i think it'd be a good idea to flame first and then post your thoughts =].

66mm/ indy no risers...sweet. maybe a 1/8-1/4 riser if your loose. I am sure it may be possible to get the wheels to touch, but if you are going at any reasonable speed it shouldn't be a problem. and if you get wheelbite at high speed, you are probably already in trouble anyway. Wheelbite is good for you, it kind of scares the sh1t out of you for a second, almost like when you are half asleep, and your socks slip on the floor on the way to the bathroom and sends an adrenalin rush from your toes to your fingers.

Lol, that's the most interesting thing I've ever heard about wheelbite. I absolutely dread it, but if you say so Brian... /throws out risers
sig'd btw, if you don't mind =P

Road Rages are really nice wheels. I like 'em more than Zig Zags.

Re: Official Superglider Army Setup Thread
They're grippy until you push them and then they drift nicely.

I clarified that. Does not my clarification eliminate the need for such a condescending post?
