Kurdt, seeing as how you don't have a riser, do you get wheelbite at all? Even with my 1/2" risers and Powerballs, it gets fairly close - then again my trucks are pretty loose.

hmm, yeah, i was expecting wheelbite but so far so good, i dont think my trucks are super duper loose but i find my trucks very turny as it is, could it be the bushings in the MHS hybrid trucks?

Re: Official Superglider Army Setup Thread
Trucks: Indy 149s
Bushings (make, model, color/duro): Bones Hardcore Medium bottoms/Indy stock tops (temp until I find a better setup)
Risers (lowerers'): 1/8" (stock MHS, I think it's 1/8th)
Wheels (make, model, size, duro): 66mm EW Superballs 82a
Bearings: Speedy Lunatic
Riding Style (cruising, carving, downhill eek!): Carving, commuting, cruising, whatever dancing moves I can pull off
Riding Terrain (park, street, garage): Street, bike paths
Other wheels used:
Miscellaneous: Great board. Still want to dial in my bushing setup, might grab some Core baseplates so I can run taller bushings. The Superballs feel larger and smoother than my 70mm flashbacks, and seem to roll over things just as well. Great wheels.
Nemesis/42 prandals/76mm RFs or 83a drifters
Five Mile A-6/hybrid 215s/RFs or drifters or flashbacks.

This board has taken a huge beating and the only damage so far is a razor tail . For such a thin board, these things appear bulletproof

How well does this board slide with some slide a's? Does it work as a technical slider with the right setup?
I was originally thinking about getting this board as a cruiser AND getting a Corchia complete for sliding, but if I could just swap the wheels I may just get the glider for both.
Does anyone have experience on this board with slide wheels?
Thanks.

Slides about like you'd think.
I'm not really a tech slider. I got them mainly to ride at the park, so I could throw down a noisy-ass powerslide when I go all gangsta.

Reverse KP.
You can dewedge the shiite out of the rear all you want, but the added height is going to help grip (that's my experience). Unless you can ride the fine line between hard bushings in the back and lifting a rear wheel, which may help you to drift or may cause some gnarly highsiding.
When I had my superglider set up with stock, 50 deg randal 150s. I could slide it fairly easily (for a short amount of time, more like a hockey stop) with the right wheel. I'm thinking maybe with 150s and a 50/35 thing?????
Not at your disposal?

Re: Official Superglider Army Setup Thread
Trucks: Indy 169's
Bushings (make, model, color/duro): Blue Khiro Bitches, flat washers
Risers: I've tried shock pad (got wheelbite), wedges (don't like it too much), going to get another set of 1/4".
Wheels (make, model, size, duro): 65mm 81a No Skoolz
Bearings: Speedy Lunatic
Riding Style (cruising, carving, downhill eek!): whateva
Riding Terrain (park, street, garage): all over
Other wheels used: 60mm 85a Rat Bones
Miscellaneous: ???
I'd really like to try a Indy 149/66mm zigs setup and a bennet 6.0/zigs setup, and see how it feels compared to mine.
