I say go for it. Take pictures to keep us posted.

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
Are there any unwritten rules of longboarding?
Do you follow the rules of the road, like someone riding a bike would (stopping at lights, stop signs, and other rules of the road)?

yeah, if you're commuting or doing other urban skating it's best to stick to the same laws that bikes do
stopping at lights is pretty important.

Wear a helmet.
Don't skitch unless you are being transported back up a hill at safe speeds.
Skate for fun.

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
i cant decide whether to get the EW superglider, or the EW supercharger. BTW would 10.25 width be too wide for it to feel natural and free?

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
i'd say look up some comparisons with the search functions, and you will be able to find great information on both. personally i'd say the superglider/widerglider because i've ridden both and the extra width feels amazing!

while it is a fun board that is well built as you have said, there are much cheaper alternatives, which are also well built and fun, and last longer

Tight enough so the bushing never comes out of the side of the seat in the hanger, but not tight to the point where it noticeably deforms.

I usually have it so there is one or two threads showing, if I feel like I need it tighter than I swap in some harder bushings
