Re: NOOB Questions Aswered By Dopamine David
betty: my hair started to go when i was 16, and was noticable at 20 and i decided that i would rather be bald than balding... so its all gone, and i wont let it grow back, and my wife likes it clean shaven, so it stays that way
steep: i know that slalom guys often have a 0 degree back, but again i dont really know that stuff too well. i have wanted to run 50 degree front and 0 degree back for a while, but i have only riden down to 5 degrees on the back.. this stuff is mostly preference but i think 42/42 is perfect if you dont want the back to track for dh, and then i move from there, 50/35 is very nice, extremely stable, and 50/5 was hard to get used to, but i didnt spend a lot of time on that to get use to it. i think anything beyond 60 in the front gets twitchy. thats my experience anyway

Re: NOOB Questions Aswered By Dopamine David

Is the a correlation between white hear growth and balding?

Re: NOOB Questions Aswered By Dopamine David
shaving your head is a personal choice.. if you would like the way it looks better than go for it, if not then dont. and i have never had a grey or white hair, so i do not think there is a corelation

If I were to buy a superglider with 4presidents and indy 169s, what size risers would i need to run the trucks loose, avoid wheelbite and keep the board low?
-
Re: NOOB Questions Aswered By Dopamine David
I honestly dont think you would need more than a shock pad, unless you are also changing the bushings or something, but that board seems to have a pretty good wheel cut out... but i have not ridden the board myself, so i would say try it with shock pads and change it if needed

my 80 year old grandpa has a full head of white hair, but my other grandpa is balding, but has dark brown/black/grey/charcoal color hair.

uh.. 1/2. Thats how i have it set-up and it ALMOST gets wheel bite. Using 2 Orange Khiro cones(from barrels) and a Orange cone top. I think if i were to jump on it had slow speeds it'll bite. It helps to search there is a thread about that.
Question: How would I go about cutting my flex 1 vanguard so it has a tail and nose and have a shorter wheelbase like the 38" ones?(note: I have no tools)

i think my face is balding cuz my eyebrows are seemingly being depleated from the outside ends into the middle. and my widow peak is reversed.

i heard that most wheels' durometers are usually off by one or two units, so the 80a's could actually be 81a, or 79a's.

the length between the front truck and back truck.
generally, longer wheelbases are more stable, but turn less.
