david,
i have changed my finicken pins in my base plates but now the whistlekevens seem to rattle.
Is this due to not having enough lube on my flitzens,do i need new ones?
Or should i just order a new deck stretcher and forget about it.
Steve: thanks for the help with the superglider question... and I have no idea how you are going to cut a vanguard without tools if you can get a drill, you could just redrill a few holes, but then you still have to have a tool.. um.. good luck
157.3 million inches
Lukaz: all wheels are off by 1-2 duros.. so there is always a chance that an 80a and a 82a wheel are actualy exactly the same, or have a difference of 6a. running two different duros if they are this close i think is nice, i like the softer wheels in the back so it grips a bit more.
Charles: wheel base is the distance from one truck to the next, usualy measured by the most inside truck bolt. the closer these are the more turny you are, the further out the more stable and less turny
kshizz: I dont have any extra trucks or wheels, but I can get some quickly if you need to get ahold of some, but they wont be any cheaper than you can get them anywhere else.. but let me know if you need to get ahold of some, i get mine through a local shop that has a very large stock of all of this
asf2j: put soap shavings in the pivot cup, cause that is what is actualy squeeking, you might have a popping sound from your bushings popping out of the bushing seet, you can put soap shavings in there as well, but you will find your truck much more turny that way, so i'd just put up with it if that is what it is. probably go with a softer bushings and titen it down a bit, thats what i did to fix this.
ive been sick for 4 days and i misse a group presentation given to my class and teachers and it was a big project. my group is mad and i need to make it up to them. so should i get them Pie, brownies, cake, or highfives? or should i highfive a pie filled brownie covered cake in their face?

Sundevil: the greater the degree the more turn per lean you have. So if you have a 50 degree truck and you lean over while turning you will have a specific turning radiouse. if you have a 0 degree trick and you lean over, you will not turn at all. So a lower degree base plate like a 35 for instance, you lean and it doesnt turn as quickly as a 50 degree, this makes it more stable at higher speeds, because a small adjustment at a high speed on a 50 degree will translate into a bit of a turn, and that same adjustment on a 35 might not make you move at all. So the key is to find what is the right amount for how you ride, because obviously you still want to be able to turn even if you are going 75mph.
jigsaw.. thats how i'd do it, but if you dont want to use power tools, then a hack saw. you have to go through fiber glass so if you go with a jigsaw make sure you get a carbide blade
