Speed: you must have email subscribed to it. you can change that in the my controls section if i remember right.

xtra: I do not know the average board size of all of them ever. but my guess is 32 inches. mostly because most of the skateboards out right now are at that size, since shortboards are made 100-1 with longboards I think, and before the 80s boards were made much smaller, but still a small quantity compared to the currenly shortboard business. So i think 31-32 is a very safe bet

its just a coleman pendy that you dont pendy back, you just keep it sideways, and you can slowdown faster and slower depending on how much preasure you put on the board. also once the board is sideways, sometimes it helps to put both hands down behind you for more stability if you are doing this at higher speeds

i dislike the fact that i am automatically crowned a noob title when i post here, but im gonna do it anyways. I tried to use the search function for this one but i didn't have any luck.

When someone refers to a top and bottom bushing on their board, does that mean the top is the bushing closest to the bottom of the deck, and vise versa for the bottom bushing?

it not a thread for noobs, but for noob questions..

anyway, if you frip your board so the grip tape is on the floor, then he top bushing is the one on top, and the bottom bushing is the one closest to the ground

my questtion is: does this sound good for final specs? keep the shape of the borderholic in mind.

    40" long with a about a 32" wheelbase
9"wide at widest (not counting nose and tail) w/6"flat in between concave
7.5" wide thinnest (not counting nose and tail) with nice comfy tub concave.
the nose is 2"flat then a .5/1 inch slope on either side.
    then straight down 4 inches
then sloped down 5.5"/2.5". at this point is is 9"wide
it then slopes down to 7.5"
    then slopes in another 4"/1.75"
then the tail looks like the nose except one inch shorter

it will be 5 plies 1/8 BB and dropped thru from .75" from the tip and tail.
    It'll be a freeride/dh board
    sound good?

kshizz- that is almost the exact demensions of the board that I made for Jess (boarderaholic). With some concave variations. Since she is smaller, i made a smaller version of it. It will be a great board just like that, sounds perfect.

now. do one other measurment for me. What is the distance from one side of the nose to the other? like right where you mount the trucks. It is best if this is right at 4.5 inches in total so that you dont get wheel bite with an offset wheel, if its 5 inches, then it gets real close, but it can be ok, but more than that and in a hard turn the inside of your wheel will hit that point.

post pics when you get it done of course.
