I realized that, and I also realized that if he finds one he likes, he may want to just buy it at the shop when he tries it on. If you're ordering online, you can't be certain the helmet will fit you like you want. I ordered a fullface that supposedly would fit my head perfectly, but when I got it I had to take out some pads, and it still felt a little snug. Now, the shop he goes to may not have the specific helmet he wants, in which case he should definitely check out your link, because you said it has a great inventory for good prices.
Also, I never insulted you, nor did I mean to. You seemed to think that I was, and if my earlier post came off that way, I'm sorry. In fact, I purposefully put this smiley so you would know I wasn't trying to insult you.

That sucks.
I'm not trying to answer, I'm just wondering:
Was your wrist in a cast, or not?

(sorry david ahead of time) but one word came to mind: amputation
So I traveled in a wagon with George W. Bush, Dick Cheaney, John Ashcroft, and Condoleezza Rice. During the journey, the group encountered a case of cholera, a broken arm, two wagon fires, one fever. Condoleezza Rice got fleas and died, but that's because she was having relations with the oxen. Dick Cheaney got bitten by a snake. Ashcroft - he ended up dying of dysentery. and bush got killed by indians. but thats the Oregon Trail for you.

mixed risers
I like pretty high risers on my board. I have a whole bunch of different sizes sitting around. Included in my choices are a 1/2" hard riser and an angled riser (1/4" to 1/2"). If I was to use both of these at the same time, would the angled riser go in the front or the back; also, which way would the angle face. Thanks a bunch. -vk./baritone

Do you want the board to turn more or less? If you don't want to intentionally change the angle of the trucks then just get flat risers. If you want it to turn more, wedge the front; less, dewedge the back. To have your board track more with the front (in ways similar to the way a car steers) then do both. It also depends on what angle baseplates you are riding.

ilovemurphy: grip is not actualy completely neccesary, i have a board that i ride grippless. it can be done, and it can work just fine, but you'll probably want some grip. in general, you want to cover any where you will be puting your feet, so the whole middle section, from one truck to the other is probably best, but if you are just cruising on it, no high speeds and no sliding, then you dont really have to grip it.
aznmobsta: i really like the khiro blues and oranges for carving setups, i prefer both in barrel shape, but either way is good.
downhillbomber, and tiny pete. do you have a questions or do you just want to argue, if you want to argue, you need to start a "downhillbomber and tinypete arguing about stupid crap" thread

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
aspeckofdust. i'm assuming it hasnt been casted. if it hasnt been casted, then you need to go see a doctor right away, if it was casted and just came out of the cast, then that is pretty normal, but if they casted it, it was probably supposed to be in the cast longer than a few weeks. pretty much, you need to see a doctor.

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
I have a board now that has been passed down to me by a friend. It is about 42.5" super flexible. Essentially, I love it and want to get another, but there is no brand name or anything on it. There is a worn out sticker of two women back to back just above the rear trucks. The wheels say 70's Flashback on them and are abec 11. Does anybody know this brand or have any ideas where I could find a board like this?
Thanks.

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
David, I have a demonseed, I swapped on some 42 randal plates with paris hangars to liven it up a bit. I had crails on it previously, which are now on the topmount. Anyway. This thing is damn low, even with 81ish mm Flys. I love how it feels but with 85 venoms all around I can carve it hard enough to get some rail bite. Anyway, I don't really have any other trucks laying around, so is there anything I can do to raise it it up a bit besides bigger wheels. Could I use some sort of wedge to get it to a greater angle or would that still bite? If all else fails, I'll grab some 50 plates. That or just use my dervish for campus and throw some fatter/harder bushings on the DSeed for DH, doubt I can get it to bite at 30+, haha.
