Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
so just got my hellcat last week and i set it up with 42 degree randals. but im really lost with the bushing combos. i weigh about 50kgs and i have green venom barrels bottom/blue khiro top on my back truck and red khiro double barrel on my front truck.
its still loose as hell. tried cranking it down but still doesn't seem to get any tighter. i've been reading the dh threads and everyone says if you're below 130lbs you shouldnt go anything above 90a.
im thinking maybe its just my lack of skill that cant handle the loose trucks down hills? i know its up to personal preference but how tight are your trucks meant to be for dh? (i'm prob only gonna go 50km/h max for now)
help?

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
Baahhh at whoever said you can't use bushings above 90a. As for your predicament, mix the barrels with some sort of Stim shape bottom, whether it be an Elim, or JimZ or whatever. I weight about 120lb's and like to use 90a Venom barrels and a JimZ bottom to help eliminate a bit of the tippy/flingy feeling.

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
hey i cant find the chart that someone posted a while back stating which baseplates matched what hangers. so i will ask here, will my randall 180s hangers fit some gullwing chargers 10s bp's
So I traveled in a wagon with George W. Bush, Dick Cheaney, John Ashcroft, and Condoleezza Rice. During the journey, the group encountered a case of cholera, a broken arm, two wagon fires, one fever. Condoleezza Rice got fleas and died, but that's because she was having relations with the oxen. Dick Cheaney got bitten by a snake. Ashcroft - he ended up dying of dysentery. and bush got killed by indians. but thats the Oregon Trail for you.

zakthemaniac: so you want a good dancing board eh?
well yes there's the loaded dancer, and I have had the pleasure of owning one and riding one and it's definitely a sick board, if you like the graphic and have the money then go for it
there's also roggs, which makes a dancer and a junior dancer which will be more convenient for cruising
if you are really concerned about the graphic and want a nice ride I'd order something from longboardlarry, the komodo is a fun ride, great size for dancing, and you can talk to Larry and get a custom paint job on it

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
skater101: grizzlies will work just fine for dh, however I personally do not like them
it's all personal preference though, some people like grizzlies, some people like randals and some people like paris. there is others as well, take your pick

grizzlys are very high
if you want a low truck go with 42 randals

Sorry, (to clarify) .....40* Grizzlies are about the same ride height (flipped or unflipped) as 42* Randals, with comparable performance.

Both the 42* Randals and 40* Grizzles are lower than either C7 or R7 Forces, or 35* or 50* Randals.

Re: NOOB Questions Answered By Dopamine David
How the heck do I get rid of wheel lift on a topmount? I've never been able to completely solve this problem before. I'm running flipped Randal 180s on a deck that's 9" at the widest, meaning the trucks are quite a bit wider than it. I tried running my loosest bushings, then harder bushings, but trying different bushing combinations didn't help much. Will it always be there or is there something I'm missing? Perhaps it could be because they're flipped?
