This thread should be changed/restarted, considering Dopamine David is rarely here anymore. Just sayin'.
How can I contact Roggs about a cuctom board? I've already tried the message thingy on the website.

they're pretty turny traditional geometry trucks
I'd say with a little experience, any truck is gonna be stable enough for riding on sidewalks

.. if you are just riding them on sidewalks you should run them loose so you don't sacrifice maneuverability.

I have a short question. i newly bought my first longboard, a Never Summer Decent with Randal R-II trucks and 70 mm 83a gravity drifters. and now is my question, is this longboard good for downhill?(not much downhill, just a bit)
why not?

what bushings do you have on your trucks? depending on that i'd say why not. i mean i took my R-11's on a little bit of DH and they held upp just fine i had the stock bushings on them too.
I consider longboarding to be an art form, lifestyle and a sport... and thus the stoke of longboarding spreads but alas I live in the northwest where it rains all day and night.

hey, i was curious about indies for longboarding. usually when people hear independant rucks the think of vert skating. i was just wondering if some of their wider trucks such as the 219mm stage 10's are any good for longboarding

yeah it should, but I wouldn't use the dh hangers, I like the 180's more

if you can handle it then yeah, it's mostly rider skill not the board

do you want to get into tech sliding or soft wheel sliding?
if you want to get into tech sliding, look at earthwing's boards with double kicks, some independent 169's and some slide a's
if you want to get into soft wheel sliding, then just buy pretty much any longboard and go at it

tracker's are actually the company that makes 219mm trucks
independent 215's are 180mm and yes people use them for some pretty gnarly dh
