What do you think of Dangerous stuff? I really dig some of their shapes, but I'm not paying to have one shipped over here... unless its worth it.
Well personally I think they're rad! But then I ride for them so may be biased. We're gonna try a new maple layup instead of BB before prototyping gets finished... Stiffer, lighter, stronger, better.
I just finished pushing my Tengu 160 miles in 4 days, it's SICK.

Re: What wheels/deck/trucks/bushings/bearings should I get for #insert discipline#?!?
alright so i got some bear grizzly 852's on my landy drop hammer with 76 gummies
after some research on this forum, pumpkin bushings are crap
and bushings are probably what i know least about
basically i want to be able to pump and carve nicely, so something squishy with a lot of rebound is what im guessing i should have
what should i get?
edit: im using my board mainly for cruising around campus (where the pumping comes in) although i will use it for some fairly small, laid-out hills when i get home for carving
thanks for any help

Re: What wheels/deck/trucks/bushings/bearings should I get for #insert discipline#?!?
i ride the orange cone + purp barrel combo on my fsm and i like it. if you want more rebound then turn i'd go with the purple ones all around. im about 170lbs. and i like a turny/springy set up rather than just springy. take that as you need.

after trying to understand what /thread meant for a while, i figured it out
so i searched this thread, and there was someone with the same trucks as me and about the same weight ( i weigh 215).
i ordered 2 sets of the greens and purple barrels so i can experiment with them
whatever i dont use ill switch to my evo
thanks for the help

Re: What wheels/deck/trucks/bushings/bearings should I get for #insert discipline#?!?
Thanks for the great write ups!
I was just wondering if i would need a longer kingpin for my Randals to fit double barrel Reflex bushings in?
And what duro would you recommend for a 150 lbs rider looking at carving, commuting etc? 83a, 86a?

Re: What wheels/deck/trucks/bushings/bearings should I get for #insert discipline#?!?
You will need a longer kingpin yeah. 2.75" should do it I think. Go with the 83a or maybe even less. I quite liked 83a up front on a chinook and I'm about 200lbs.

Ok thanks for that. Many people have told me that the Reflex bushings don't fit properly in the randal bushing seat, could you confirm or deny this?
Thanks.

Re: What wheels/deck/trucks/bushings/bearings should I get for #insert discipline#?!?
I can confirm this, they are too wide. If you sand a bevel into them using your griptape it's ok though. On the other hand... you could buy some sabres which fit perfectly...

Re: What wheels/deck/trucks/bushings/bearings should I get for #insert discipline#?!?
my bro is 70 pounds, and has core trucks and a moose board. He almost bought some seismics to replace the cores, but first decided to experiment with bushings. He needs something as turny and carvy as possible. it doesn't have to be very stable because he only uses the board for cruising

venom hyper carves or w/e you call em.
basically any soft or cone bushings. cone=turny with less springback, barrel=springback less turny, cone/barrel combo= closest to both worlds. and since he's 70 pounds i say go with soft cones. my cousin who is 60 pounds borrowed my fsm on barrel/cone sabres and had problems turning even after i loosened the tucks, which were already pretty loose for me.

Re: What wheels/deck/trucks/bushings/bearings should I get for #insert discipline#?!?
hey hey hey hey. hey. Once again completely disreguarding the main posts and asking for myself. I have an OOOOOOOLD Flexdex Pro 41 with regular kingpin trucks and like 65mm Kryptos wheels. I used to have a S9 46" Bamboo board with 83mm Flywheels and Gullwing Alpines. I kinda like the old-school setup of the board, and it rides like a beast, the trucks are much less sensitive and it sticks real good, but my old board carved like mad and the big wheels let it ride over anything. I was thinking of getting some Charger trucks and possibly some In Heat wheels. Would this be a better setup for the board, or since it has no cutouts and no risers will it get too much wheelbite to really be a good thing?

Actually I was lookin at some Randal 180s too, so I guess I'll go with them. The 50 degree baseplate sounds pretty good 8) And the 4Prez are 70mm but I was lookin at some Abec 11 ZigZag 70's too. I like really soft wheels lol the ones that are on there now say "20 mph MAX" on them xD
