Superglider with indy 149's and zigs or dervish with randall 180's and otangs?

They're completely different boards. Why don't you tell us what kind of riding you plan on doing, and what you want out of a board?

The Superglider is very popular for cruising + carving. I've never taken it DH, but I'm sure you could do it. Since it's a lot stiffer than the Dervish (and, depending on your setup, possibly just as low or lower) it'll be more stable.


I have a Superglider w/ Indy 169 trucks (1/2" riser) and 72mm 78a Powerball wheels. It's a bit high - I'll prob switch to some 66mm wheels and maybe 1/4" riser, but the board is great. 38" is more than enough space so long as you don't plan to do any extensive dancing.

Very comfortable concave, and it has just a tiny amount of flex to feel plush when you're carving.

If I decide to use 66mm wheels, should I go with a 1/2 inch riser, or a 1/4, or a 1/8?
