Well, I've been posting on every thread I see about them, because a lot of people seem to be curious... search woulda been good though.
I like them; I think the truck design is really cool and unique, and they're a good company to deal with even if their current website is based on Apple.com's code. I called to get some replacement bushings and also stiffer springs, and they sent them out with free shipping the same day.

I have a Custom 45. It's really cool. Carves like mad. It has those monster 250mm trucks. It's not great a flat land pusher because it sits real high and the rear truck stick out a ways so you have be carefull not to kick it. But if you have some good hills you can have a blast. The Apex 37 looks sweet as hell. I might pick that up for the trucks and wheels since have to kick alot in my flat area...

They're pretty sweet, the trucks are very unique, the quickest/hardest turning trucks i've ever been on. Because of this usually peoples opinions are love or hate. The boards are quality and the completes are not overly expensive. Plus the guys there are pretty cool/easy to communicate with.
If your thinking about getting one of their boards, I would recommend trying a set of the trucks first if that's possible. In my opinion they are a great addition to a quiver, but not good to have as you main/only board, since they're not to versatile, unless your in love with the trucks and plan on mainly using your board for carving and not much speed or anything.

@LuckyBastard: Flat around here too. Do you happen to know how much an Apex 37 deck would cost? I don't want to call and ask since I really don't have the money anyway. heh heh. If I could buy another, that would be it.

They don't sell decks on the site, this I know. Though based on my post count it would be reasonable to assume I hadn't yet checked. You know, it doesn't matter, because like I said, the money's not there.

Ohhhhh. I'm sorry. I misunderstood. I thought you wanted the complete board, not just the deck. You're right - for decks alone, you have to call.

no big
I was just curious if anyone out there knew about deck prices, but not curious enough to wait til tomorrow and bug them about it... lol, the internet.
I've owned three of their boards so far, and I still have two of 'em. They get better and better all the time, they're really stepping up their construction methods. I had an older (all maple) Custom 35, and now I have a Derringer and an Apex 37. The Apex is their flagship board, but honest to god, it's a toss-up between it and the Derringer which one I enjoy more.
But it's the trucks, more than the board, that really make the difference. They're just so smooth, surfy, & precise, I love 'em. Highly recommended!

the deck is 140.
originals are awesome, scott and brad are the easiest ppl to communicate with. my apex had a crack on it after a month of riding and i swear i could just cry, but i gave them a call and they told me they would replace the deck as soon as the new apex stock comes in and mind you i don't live in the US.
just give them a call they are always happy to talk and help you out.
and i agree with barf, i got my gf the derringer and the apex for myself, but i find myself wanting to ride the derringer really often.
I have 2 Originals(Torpedo and Derringer). They are so fun! Once you ride Original trucks, you will feel like you can't get any other board to turn enough when carving. But, the cool thing about them is, when you are pushing or riding straight; they are very stable. They are love/hate type of trucks, but I will never ride any other trucks again.
