    Default Khiro bushing setup

so i have a 46in arbor pintail with gullwing chargers. i want to get new bushings for it but i dont know what setup to get. i have no clue what durometer would be the best for me. its mostly flat where so i am looking for something for carving and cruising and not speed. if anybody can give me some tips on what kind of new bushings to get and what durometer i would really appreciate it.

Im 5'10 at 175lbs and Ive got the stock randall 92a red bushings and I think they're great for carving. You might want to check out the Khiro bushing kits and experiment with those. Alot of people like to mix up barrels and cones etc.

yea, i checked out the kit, but i dont want to spend 35$ on a kit when im gonna use only 4 pieces out of it. if you can give me a specific setup that would be great. is the top busing supposed to be harder than the bottom?

The cheapest i found the kit was $30, but the point is to mix and match until you find whats comfortable, but yea specs and advice would help. I'm probably gonna but the kit and would like some ideas going into it.

I cant really tell you guys because its all preference. If you do get the khiros start with the medium yellows which I believe are 92a and work from there.

it depends on how much you weigh. most people go with the double barrel combo. blue bottom orange top. works like a charm. 92a might be a bit too hard unless you're abit heavier

I'm about 5'10", and weigh 145lb. I found that Khiro Reds were far too stiff for me. It was throwing my balance off trying to get into turns properly. I'm enjoying Khiro Orange barrels on board-side, and Khiro Blue cones on road-side. I would like to go double barrel but I haven't gotten around to getting longer kingpins and the second barrels won't fit currently.

My friend is about 6'2", and weighs 180lb. He finds my set up a little too soft without risers. Hasn't given my board a shot since I added 1/8" Soft Risers though.

I don't know if this will be of any help, but I'm 5'10" and 150lbs. I use a blue barrel on bottom and orange barrel on top on my chargers. It carves really hard yet is still easy to push.

At 135, you could probably get away with orange for both.

For a carvy yet stable setup try Blue Khiro barrels on bottom, white on top. =]

Double barrel: Orange tops, Yellow Bottoms.

Awesome for carving and pumping, while providing stability for DH. It turns like a beast. I mean its so good at turning and has awesome lean, but feels stable as hell for DH... Best set up ever. fuhking sex on wheels.
