Could be he's simply referring to cutting/turning the axle threads and/or the steps as the "machining". Maybe not. Definitely intriguing.

I think it's probably the axles as you said.

above is sooooooo true. i love how the favored mode of promotion on the fish tends to be:

1. attn getting thread title, typically in the form of some brand you've not heard of, that is supposed to be intriguing. or, some person/brand you know, connected to some variety of product, read: adam colton fill in blank with trucks, board, etc.

2. single blurry, severely underexposed, bigfoot sighting of said product.

3. virtually no informative text is included with above picture. (or in some cases, some very small amount of very useless info. is provided, skipping step 2)

4. hype builds of it's own accord. (or the hype machine known as the fish)

lulz/stupidity ensue, and hopefully within a year(s) (sometimes only months!) some smidgen of veritable info. is released along with pics.
