most DH decks actually have camber, its a nice way to make a deck rock solid if you use a small amount.

Sirkale got it. It's designed to be an all around board, but I use it for downhill. There is actually no camber pressed into the board, but I do put it into the skins, which want to spring back and give the end product a small amount. It's just enough to flatten out when stood on and give the board more pop, but not enough to throw you off.

Re: The latest from Stickman Skates
Instead of glassing the board, the glass is cured with more concave and camber than the finished board will have, and then attached to the board. It's the same concept as a prestressed concrete beam.
I'm not telling you how to do it though, you can figure it out

Re: The latest from Stickman Skates
i traded a board that i won from raffle ticket up in austin few weeks ago with a stickman board... the board itself is the prototype for giant squid (i think... right mitch?) but anyways...
the board that i got is concaved, ultra flexy (i weight 120 lbs and the board touches the ground when i jump on it) and really snappy... its makes a really, really good garage board or freeride imo... i can pump like no other with this board...
go fuuuuuck yourself!!

Re: The latest from Stickman Skates
Stickman's got the sickest boards ever, he's make'n me one that's got the flex to handle 240 pounds and that means I can still bomb the shiizzzz out of my favorite hills. Once you've bomb'd a hill on a "Stickman" you won't go back-jack!

Re: The latest from Stickman Skates
And his ability to adapt to my needs of a not so flex deck, has made me want another carve'r slash sick sidewalk surfer.
Mitch - you "rock" in my book.
Peace
and like Tom said; maybe you should consider doing this full time????
