I've got a thread in the builders forum that goes into greater detail here.

This deck will eventually be posted for sale here, I haven't set a price yet but expect the price to reflect both the fact that the deck will be somewhat used and that it employs cf/kevlar(not cheap or easy to work with).

I will post rider feedback when it starts coming in and set a price for similar builds at that time.

sweet boards man, the level of craftsman ship on these things is awe inspiring, and the douglas adams reference just makes them better, I feel like a 'don't panic' board is in order.

Thanks a lot, I'm really loving your work too. That Air Force deck is ridiculously sick. "Don't Panic" is already planned BTW, and it's for me.

The sister double drops are about halfway done at this point, and I'm really happy with the way they're coming out. There's no finish on them currently and the epoxy still needs to be sanded(and the tops finished) so they are a little rough yet.

The deck on the right is a customer build that the client gave me some design leeway under the condition that if I didn't feel it was going to work out the way we planned that I would build a replacement of more tested construction methods right away. At this point I'm feeling pretty good about the build and don't expect to be building another.

The deck on the left is a prototype for me to just try out some different things that I've wondered about. I'll give a full write up about my line of thinking when the deck is done. So far I'm happy with what I'm seeing and really looking forward to riding this deck. I did get a couple snags in the carbon, you might be able to find them in the photo even though they're hardly noticeable. I also had the lower stringer shift a little on me so if you sight the deck it looks a little off. Both of these things bug me, but I guess that what happens, at least the deck is for me.

Also, since I'm getting a new double drop, deck #3 will be going on sale soon for a rock bottom price, but not until #18 is done and I've done a full side by side test with 3,17, and 18.

Still no love for #16 and it's still for sale. If I can take it to UPS on Monday when I do the rest of my shipping I would be willing to ship for $10 to the lower 48. That's $110 shipped, but only if I can get it sold by noon Monday.

In other news, my graphic artist friend finished my new logo this week and I should have a handful of beautiful decals in my hot little hands really soon.
