Why was oak chosen as the wood?

Well we have a vision of bringing longboarding bringing back the old-school sorta attitude to the boards by designing them after the first original skateboards during the 50's, 60's and 70's. Its strong, has a great grain pattern, natural looking, durable, and native to New Hampshire

Alright well the site has been updated with some new pics of the boards and we're ready to order! Keep checking back for more pics that will be up soon ( hopefully before the long-weekend is over! )

So each board is custom made from scratch, correct? I'm really interested in the TeeCoff for some sliding.

You got it! Every board is made custom once you order it! Jordan & I decided that we liked keeping things at GS as personal as possible & as hands on for us, so its good for you and wicked fun for us to! Keep in mind that we these decks are on a limited production, we are only selling 400 of the decks with the current graphics! TeeCoff is a great board if your looking to do slides on it; I had superballs on it the other day and it was a pretty sweet ride

Your boards look really nice. I love the graphics on the Qanoo and it looks like a fun board. I would definitely consider adding the Qanoo to my quiver. Best of luck to you guys.

Jordan said it all! We really are working as fast as we can to get things off the ground...I just got all the new pictures of the boards from Jeff so I'll post an update when we get those pics off and rocking for you guys! The video is on the process of being posted but since our Tech-Guy is going to Fitchburg State we're basically waiting for him to edit it and clean it up for the best shots. I'm shooting for this weekend for the video to be up so stay tuned!
BTW thanks for all the great & positive posts from everyone Longboarding is pure, simple fun and we like to keep the vibe riding as long as possible
