Starting a new local board company in fort wayne

Hello everyone. My name is Rob and I used to be extremely active on this forum and built some good boards and sold maybe one or two in the past the original name I was gonna use back in the day was Flatlandboards. That name is long in my past and has some old bad memories associated with it. But anyways the new name will be SOLE~CRVE. This will be a local company within Fort Wayne Indiana. There is all ready a custom longboard company close by, by a guy named Nate I don't know if he is on here or not. Anyways the reason you are reading this is because as the people that have longboarding as there everyday life like I did I want to know what shape and style of boards you guys like the best. The boards will have limited run art on the bottom of them so the art will be run for 10 to 20 boards approximately and then be discontinued. The boards will all be numbered and signed by myself and if there is a coordinating artist on the build them as well. All decks will have small logo graphics on the top and sand grip tape. One artist that I all ready have psyched to do some coordinating boards with is Angelo Bullano from Toledo Ohio check out some of his stuff at his website human experiment#3850000001. Home is still toledo but the sales will be done in fort wayne indiana were I work and there is just plain out more longboarding business to be done. But thanks for the good wishes

FlatLander's would've had a nicer and catchier ring to it imo. Your new name is forgettable and kind of leaves me scratching my head.

valid point very valid point and yes other than zip carbon fiber bike wheels that are made in indianapolis it will be the most exciting thing going on.

Thats cool to hear. I just started longboarding so I can't say much, but I have yet to meet another longboarder here in Fort Wayne yet. Not to scare you though. (Yes, I live in Fort Wayne. I was surprised to see a thread with Fort Wayne in the title.) There is hopefully more longboarders. Most the people I know skate shortboards but maybe they will try something new if it is offered in the area.

Good luck and if you ever open a small shop I might just have to stop in and check things out.
