Its cool to see you up and running, those boards look awesome.

Is the 4th picture in the set from the blogs bamboo? or is it a trick of the light? If so where did you get the plywood? I know a place in los Alamitos or Anaheim that sell 4'x8'x1/4" bamboo for $80 dollars a sheet, but it would be nicer to find a place closer to LB if there is one.

how is the W cave on a slalom deck?

you can imbed pics using the [img][/img] bracket system. just put the ULR of the Attachment, and it will be up forever.

Thank you flannelman for the pics. I'll try it next time. And I actually didn't build that board with intention of slalom, but I'm sure it can handle it. It's actually a W concave without the sides of it, Kinda like a flat concave with a bump in the middle. I think it's very good in all aspects (if you like W concave of course)

jackal- thanks. That was the board from my blog in which I just used bamboo floorboards, I'd probably have to join the same hunt you're on the find some real bamboo haha

way to go max! That mini is called the flyte just so you guys know. Its the first board max made with his "vertabrae concave", which is basically a "T" concave. A bump in the middle which reminded us of a vertabrae haha. That style of concave is very, very friendly for the arch of the foot. Its sick. I bet with some different mounting holes it would own at slalom too.
