I'll start saving. After riding yours, I will be getting one eventually.
Loose trucks may save lives, but they won’t save you any money on your car insurance.

I moved both trucks out by 1". Going to see how it handles with slightly more flex and the additional 2" of wheelbase.

You know, if that's the case, you may not have to be as concerned with aggressive wedging. One of your angled risers in the rear (de-wedged) would most likely do the trick.

    wheel wells ala this?

The wheel wells have been superfluous w/ 77mm tall wheels w/o risers. However, this has been w/ Seismics and not R-II's which shorten the wheelbase a considerable amount. These wheels wells were, I assume, created to my preference in trucks and not for R-II's or DH's.

Those pics make me all moist and giddy...

Just got back from riding the S38 with the 29" wheelbase position. Oh. My. God. Smoother, faster, better drifts.

Here's an update on the Swift 38:

Decks have been pressed and shaped, and are being drilled and stained. Min wheelbase is slated to be 27.375", with 28.375" and 29.375" positions. Oldschool mounting pattern (easier access to mounting nuts). Stain will be orange, not the deep red like my prototype.

Mine is set up as follows:

Seismic 180mm quick/45-deg truck front, light green springs, +3 wedge and 1/8" soft riser. Truck is mounted in innermost position/holes.

Seismic 180mm quick/45-deg truck, yellow springs, -4 wedge and 1/8" soft riser. Truck is mounted in outermost position/holes (28.375" wheelbase).

I've run Grippins, Gumballs, and Avilas, and none rub with the above config. Stable, nimble, and predictable ride.
