Smoothill is a distributor that carries the trucks. They're located in Marin County, so someplace like Purple Skunk should be able to get them.

Once some shops actually have them in stock so that I can see a real sample and hold it in my hands, I'll probably get a set. But it's been so long that they've not been available from anyone in the US that I've sort of given up on the chances of ever actually seeing them.

How do you screw the trucks onto the board? It looks like the nuts would be hard to get to and would need the exact right length of hardware.

No, it mounts like a regular truck. Note the pictures.

Is there any advantage to these trucks? I wouldn't think so, as you can't tweak them at all. And we all know how much SFer's love to tweak trucks.......

The idea is that you don't have to tweek them, they should have a much more consistant turn than conventional trucks with no dead spots or squeeks, plus they're meant to be lighter and just cool in general. I'd like to try some I'm just trying to figure out what kind of board to put them on.

Thats one of the few times that gimp hasn't made a negative comment about a piece of equipment. :|

But yah, I could see them being not the longest lasting, but I'd be interested to see how the feel. I'd buy a set prolly.

Checkout Hugh R's website! He tested a set out a while back, he liked them.
