    Default custum hardwood veneer

    well it took a little while but we are finally able to say this;
Wednesday Skateboards can make custom hardwood face grade veneers for your deck building needs. Up to 12" wide and 61" long, and as thin as 1/16". Please see our myspace page for pics. If you have a specific stringer or wood combo in mind let us know and we can get you a price quote that won't blow your profit margins. Minimum is 4 pieces
Some on here have ordered from us before, if that's you please let us know what you thought of what you got.
    Thanks all, Mike

    Default New longboards

Was told to post some pics here of our decks. By the way Night, from Raliegh, contact me again but add me as a friend so I can send you a reply.

Here are a few pics of the 47" and 43" cruisers as well as a 42" noserider, Hope y'all like.

This is a pic of the Hibiscus Clear grip job

All of the decks have camber and concave, as well as a vlam core that provides flex and rebound. Any wood combo is available ( as long as I can get it lol)

Oh yes they are for sale!! The flowered grip just uses a template and laquer with clear sand. I plan to make some other templates for different grips. Please contact me on myspace if you want to get one.

    Default CNC for board builders

Just wanted to post some pics of a new line of CNC machines we are making this year. Thinking some of y'all on here might be interested.

Originaly designed and marketed to Snowboard-Ski builders and companies it has always been the intent to make them feasible for the skateboard manufacturers community too.

We were able to rework the original depth of cut from 3" to just over 5" which will be more helpful in cutting skate molds and multiple decks. The cutting surface of the machine shown here is 27" wide x 80" long x 5" deep with a footprint of 3' x 8'. This one is a benchtop machine and will have a retail price tag below 4 g's. The price is straight materials and labor costs only.

These pictures are of the first one to be built and I will post more as it reaches completion this week as well as videos of it in action (when we get them)

Other sizes of machines are on the drawing board and I have some thoughts on a smaller machine just for skateboard makers. Hope you like it so far.....

    Gantry assembly rear

Rough final assembly with Z carraige mock up

    Z carraige bearings

Unpainted Z carraige (crank handle is temporary for testing the lift mechanism)

The X and Y axis of the machine are powered by rack and pinion and the Z is lead screw.
425 oz/in motors and controllers are from Xylotex and the software is Vetric's 2D/3D Cut bundle.
