    Default Godspeed Longboards Inc.

We are Godspeed Longboards based out of Calgary, Alberta - it's exciting to see such an active Canadian market on Silverfish! Special thanks to the Silverfish admins for inviting us down here.

You can check out our new site at www.godspeedlongboards.ca and see the decks we're making, but let me take an opportunity to show you a few pics and tell you about the boards:
These boards really do RIP! They are all made out of Carbon Fiber Wood Composite. They\'re light, unique, and totally eye catching! Check them out at www.godspeedlongboards.ca.
I hope you enjoy! Skate safe! Always check your equipment! GODSPEED TO YOU!

its like, hot pockets! but not really, interesting speedboard, looks sorta like the usage of brianatferalarts's dropping plate, and also sorta like my speedboard's hot pockets...

your so right....I've actually been researching starting one up on the east coast when I get back from the Bahamas. I've even started a rough business plan.

hehe, for sure dude. Something could be worked out.. we're really busy till christmas unfourtunatly...

I don't think you really have to worry about Skurf... we're more of a board co-op and research facility then a company. We spend most of the profit we make on more gear to make skates....and the rest on questionable things

Its the dudes at kebbek who I think are putting our corner of the continent on the map with no-nonsense performance designs, and innovative pressing methods. Those guys are the real deal.

For sure....my very next board purchace is going to be a Kebbek. They have the speed market wrapped up on the east coast. I wouldn't ever try to take that away from them.

These Godspeed boards look killer. Certainly a different take on design and with a flair for style.

I knew what those truck plate shrouds were the second I saw them! I was riding a board recently, where the racer mounts his hardware with the bolt heads on the underside, and leaves the threaded spikes sticking up off the top of the board (not huge, but still...) and I found myself distracted by them for a while. The carbon plates may be extravagant, but they sure are elegant.

Cool concept with the truck hood on the speedboard. I know someone who runs a soft riser ontop of his dropthrough trucks. Sweet looking boards too.

    Default Godspeed Longboards...

Very interesting site - I like the positive feedback...it's nice. As for trade secrets, I find it hard to give something up that I've worked so long for. Blood, sweat, bruises, massive scrapes, massive road rash, sprained ankles and broken bones to get where I am today. It's kinda like your grandma's secret recipe. I still have my dayjob but one day I hope to knit our company into a great community with great skating and lots of shits and giggles.

I like this opportunity. Thanks for your support.

    Skate, annoy and enjoy!

    Mark John
