    Default Road Rider

Hey, thought I'd give you guys a sneak peek at the upcoming Road Rider truck. This is the first raw pre-production sample, fresh out of the mold, so the finish is a little rough, but we're pretty stoked on the results. The Road Rider is cast, with a 45 degree base, and 60mm axle height. Hope you like.

Nope, these are all new bushings, designed specifically for this truck.

Sweet, 45* sounds perfect in my opinion I have 42 randals and 50 paris's and a 45* would be sooo perfect for freeriding and DH!!! What duro are the stock bushings?

i agree. The only other 45* bp angle i know of is a kahalani truck. glad to see more cast companies are exploring other bp other than just 50* and 42*

Different factory than Sabre, and the Road Rider is slightly lower than the Sabre as well, around 4mm lower at center axle height.

so it's a more restrictive caliber with 1 more degree bp and it looks like a sabre.

you mean hangar. a 180mm axle would be a 110mm hangar.

haha. how thick is the axel exactly? i assume its the same as randal? like 7.8mmish? thatd be nice if it was like caliber/gunmetal at 7.9mm

how do you know it's more restrictive? is there a bushing seat picture in another thread? and I've decided that it looks like a craibre (crail and sabre hangar on a sabre plate)

So are these earmarked for SC completes, or are they meant as an aftermarket item?

It was designed to stand on it's own as an aftermarket item first, which is why we passed on existing cushions and pivot cups to design ones unique to this truck, but it will be used on SC completes. The aftermarket trucks will be tricked out a little to keep them different from the complete trucks.

because I can see plainly that the bushing sits deeper in the hangar than on a caliber.

    7.99mm axles? damnnn
