I'm working to put together a nice long thread for the builder section, detailing just about every method we use. I've been thinking and have come to the conclusion that I'm completely sick of builders and companies keeping their "secrets" from customers... "secret" graphics process, "secret" glue, "secret" pressing techniques, I'd like to get on a personal level with all customers.

I've also decided that we are marketing a handmade specialty board, as a mass produced item. You will notice changes to the BUM Longboards website in the coming month that will work with this thinking...

Thanks, that's the idea, I want my customers and "fans" to know just as much as I do, besides upcoming boards

I received my OG Superfly on Saturday and I love it! I took on a commute into the city this weekend and it handled things great. The flex really helped for weaving around pedestrians and objects on the sidewalks and the board was light and easy to carry for those times when I wasn't riding. It's also a beautifully constructed board so I don't want to thrash it too much before I get my camera! The customer service was awesome, I was kept updated about the status of my order up until it was shipped (Thanks for the bearing spacers btw, I was in need of some)

Another thing, are you thinking of sponsoring any events? There are some slide jams in DC coming up this spring and I think it would be nice to get Bum's name out on the east coast. A ton of people came to the other two slide jams this year in DC and they were successful enough to have some more. I don't know how you go about sponsoring an event but here are the Facebook pages if you're interested: #1 and #2

Great to hear man! I really like mine for in the city. I do sponsor events, and those look likes events i'd definitley be interested in! I'll keep in contact with you about that.

Haha! I actually thought about that as I was typing... I use Multibond sk-8 though, you should check it out, $90 for 5 gallons, made for skateboards
