    Here it is:

Tony Smallwood one of the founders of the DC/DC club in Washington painted the world famous "Marbles" corner on Glendora Mountain Road (GMR). The image has been reproduced on a very limited edition poster for the District of Columbia Dowhill Club.

The DC/DC have hosted races in Washington since the late nineties and have helped arrange fundraising for the GREENLAB efforts to build skateparks in poor neighborhoods by using recycled materials.

This print is number 2 out of 3! It is 24 inches tall by about 33 inches wide.

Tony wanted to sell this on an art site and give the money to DRAS that way, but he agreed that skateboarders should have first crack at this very rare poster.

    Thanks Tony!

My guess is that your avatar is scaring off the competition for this great peace of artwork!

The road is an icon of skateboarding. Dave Rogers pulled out a 1980 Skateboarder Mag and there was an article in there of Hickey and his boys running 55 mile races!

We were getting close to pulling this auction and putting it on an Art Site instead. Tony, are you reading this!

Thanks Dave for reviving the thread. And thanks for showing the corner in person too!

Great to see you on here Doctor No. There is a lobby going to get you to take over the starting gate at Top Challenge!

I'm not sure how much longer this auction can stay up, I hope Tony is happy with what has come of his efforts so far.

    Is 120 our final bid?

Happy Holidays everyone... sorry for the inactivity on our part.

It looks as though Doctor NO is our winner of the DC/DC poster. If you get a chance just phone Niel, love to talk to you anyway.

A huge thanks again to Tony for that great donation. That being said... we are at a lull right now because we are waiting on some fresh donations to be auctioned off. Any ideas, please send em through.

Otherwise, check back in a bit.

Happy new year, and here is to a great race season.

The auctions are far from done.

Skurf is proud to throw its items into the fray. We are currently assembling our entire lot together. What I can tell you will be in the list of items for sure is as follows:

-limited edition 30" flat baltic birch (coffee table) hand shaped slalom board with a one of a kind screen printed logo, signed by the shaper/designer. Your choice of wheelbases for a racing board or no holes for a wall hanger.
    -limited edition shirt (pictures coming)
    -canvas SKURF patch
    -Honorary Team Skurf membership.
-???? (there will be more stuff)

So lets start the bidding for this off at $80(USD) and see where it goes. Thanks DRAS.

    Nice looking board there DO.
Im really digging that severed hands graphic. I never really got what severed hands have to do with skateboarding, but the image seems to harken the old school Santa Cruz graphics without being a total rip off of the original images. Nice work on that.

Ill kick off the bidding with $80.

Sorry, complete dimensions are 30x9" at its widest. I don't have the board infront of me so I may need to correct that.
