If speedfiend had his way, Julian would be brought up on fraud over the internet charges. Liens would be placed on him. The IRS would certainly be involved wanting the business and income taxes that surely weren't paid. A separate felony count for each individual he swindled. And the lawyers would walk away with more money than is owed any of the active parties.
Other than the "false" name Alpha used, I think he was very diplomatic and brought to the attention of Julian, that he nor his actions are forgotten..and that with an apology could be forgiven.

Running to a lawyer for every little thing may be "civilized" But it is not needed when it can be settled out of court.

come to your senses ,this guy is hiding and robbed everyone ..bottom line.
let it go for a few 100 dollars you got this douche out of your life.
personally if i was taking this to heart ,buy a ####### plane ticket and walk into his office and knock his teeth out.
getting a lawyer is a waste of time,they wont do #### but write a threating letter to which you would get no response,and issuing a subpoena to get him in small claims court is a waste of to much time over a few hundred bucks.
a class action suit is the way to go about it correctly ..put together a list of guys that got taken and file a joint suit against his assets for all monies due.
this will take time and money in attorney fees beyond the satisfaction achieved by just buying a few hundred dollar plane ticket flying to his residence ,knock on the door ,pull him out ,throw him a good old fashioned ass whooping and fly home.

yes 100 percent truth if it was me and was over 500 dollars i would have no issue paying him a visit.
at least get to look into the eyes of the guy who stole from you and get a explanation.
i will also say i have worked in some of the most civilized companies in downtown ny ,goons have come in and beat a fellow employee over a few 100 dollar debt that went unpaid.
stealing is uncivilized to begin with when dealing with a snake, become a snake.

one day driving a snake crawling across the road, injured and almost dead gets picked up by a nice man.
the man takes care of it and brings it back to good health.
the snake bites the man.
the man says "why did you bite me ? i cared for you and took care of you.
the snake reply s"you knew i was a snake when you picked me up in the road.

this julian is obviously a snake and is never coming forward after a year,so let it go or do something to make your mind at ease; be it suing him or slapping him around.
but bitching on the net definitly doesn't make anyone feel better especially those who got taken and want to forget it.

oh and using a false name was not the correct way to go about it,call and use your own name,speak your mind if you dont get hung up on.

i was robbed by a guy on the net 1200 dollars,50 dollars to a private investigator who did a reverse cell phone search for me got me his moms address in queens ny.
his mother then told me he worked at a restaurant in ny down at the seaport pier.
i went in asked a waitress when he would be in and paid him another visit.
never got my money back ,but #### if i didnt feel better doing what i did.

this is not my battle so im gonna gtfo but rest assured this julian character will get his in life one way or another ,what you do comes back at you 10 fold eventually.
