I got an email just this morning from "chicagolongboards@comcast.net" and paypal saying a money request was canceled. The odd thing is I only ordered a board from him a year or so ago. I have no idea what its for, but I'm assuming he's going to be starting to send emails out soon to other people.

This sounds like Roe Slalom all over again.
Gareth Roe has had my money for nine months.
I just got a voicemail saying that I was gonna get my money back.
$180 for nine months.
I must have sent thirty e-mails and made fifteen phone calls.
I've been too busy myself to chase it any harder.
If I actually get my money back it will be a relief but the time lost screwing around is just bullshat.
The worst part is, I still want the deck I ordered!

I've had boards made by both Pocket Pistols and Subsonic, and while both took time to make the boards, they both communicated pretty well.
I'm sure all the boardbuilders understand that customers get anxious, once the decision is made to purchase.
Nothing against Roe or CLB.
Just hope the customers get their goods, and Julian maintains his reputation.

Nope, just a dead end on the way to the Kwisatz Haderach.
Was a child prodigy of sorts but messed that up so now I yam what I yam.
Have had quite a bit of experience with studying and being studied - interesting and enlightening to say the least.
Many of the jobs I've had required enormous amounts of analysis so after a while, you just get that way. If it helps, last time I typed out it was closer to an ENTP than anything else.
Look up Myers Briggs CS2 if you don't know what those letters stand for.

She said he was talking some time away from the longboard side of things and was healthy. Supposedly he was going to make a statement on here after the new year but it's been a week already so I'm not so sure we're going to see anything.
