Is that the Loaded Fathom? How do you like it?

Everyone keeps asking that. It is a Dervish with G-Bomb brackets. Basically a mimic prototype. I can make one for you if you have a Dervish and buy the 60 dollar brackets.

Re: Anyone interested in custom racks/storage?
Slops57 - You asked for a floor standing rack, this is my design from the side. Two of these with two cross members for support, one at the top as a shelf, one at the bottom as a floor. Leans back at 23º against the wall full or empty.
$50 plus shipping. If anyone else wants one, let me know.
How's that?
[The slots will be evenly spaced, the image was the best I could do for a quick mock up.]

Re: Anyone interested in custom racks/storage?
When you said "want one?" in reference to your homemade fantom, were you saying that yours is for sale or you'll cut up my dervish for me? If yours is for sale pm me with info
The racks look good. I think a stand up type is where its at, but id suggest less angle to save space.

Re: Anyone interested in custom racks/storage?
Hmm, I'd still be fairly interested in a car trunk one possibly? How much would it go for? What would the shape look like?

Probably 45 $ since it is a one off. It would have straight slots, not angles, and it would look more like a box with slots on either side. It would be pretty cool.
But I would need your trunk dimensions. Like what is the largest rectangle you can measure in your trunk with one side parallel to the rear bumper.

Re: Anyone interested in custom racks/storage?
Who asked for the black wall hanging rack? I am having trouble finding the request in my PM's.
Thanks.

Re: Anyone interested in custom racks/storage?
If I could but it in person I would want it but I am not really one to order stuff offline.

Re: Anyone interested in custom racks/storage?
Invoices are going out today for those that sent PM's. I have sanded, disassembled, and packaged a bunch of these racks over the weekend so I can get shipping weights and estimates. Looks like shipping will be 10-15 dollars depending on location. That is the same using USPS or UPS apparently.
Looking forward you you guys looking at my rack in your own garage. Hehe...
I have numbered the joints on the back of the rack before disassembly. All you have to do is line up the numbers and screw it back together.
I am going to suggest some Elmer's white glue, or wood glue on the joints as you assemble. It should work with or without, however it is recommended for added capacity.
The shelf on top is for light stuff. Pads, wheels, etc...
Awesome. Finally getting some of these out. Got some vendor samples going to Stoked, they might offer them. Then I don't have to do the business end of this. They are more prepared to handle orders and shipping. Deal isn't finalized yet, but they will get their samples soon.
Any further orders, send me an email to chaddhall@gmail.com. My Blackberry is faster than K-Rhimes.

ALC - Shows you received your rack. How do you like it?
Pancake - Yours ships Monday.
Seth - I will invoice tonight. Yours ships Monday assuming payment is complete.
Awesome. Hope you guys are happy with these things.
Tyleroo got his today. Hand delivered. He's special I guess.

Re: Anyone interested in custom racks/storage?
David over at StokedSkateboards.com just sent me this photo of his #1 rack, #2 is yet to be mounted. Pretty sure they are going to be carrying my racks on their site soon.
Tbrown-Received your payment. Your custom leaner gets built this weekend. I will post pics when I am done. Thanks.
Endzone_bob has fallen off the face of the earth. I have a rack ready for him with poly on it. Can't get a hold of him.
*EDIT-He found me today, sweet.

If you're near a DHL location it's worth checking out their shipping prices, they tend to be a LOT cheaper when it comes to big/awkward items. I know when I ship a bicycle somewhere I can save $30-40 bucks using them over UPS, USPS or the cheap flavor of FedEx.
...and as we all know, saving $$$ is Good!
PS: Those are beautiful racks. If I get another board you'll be hearing from me, lol.

Thanks man. I actually don't send them assembled. I pre-assemble them for fitment and predrilling, but then take them back apart for shipping. The package is 31x7x3 with packaging and all. Typical shipping to the lower 48 states is between 12 and 15 bucks. But thanks for the hint on DHL, I will check rates.

Re: Anyone interested in custom racks/storage?
Hey Camel,
Could you please post H x W dimensions for these (wall and floor version)? I think it would be helpful for prospective buyers.
I kinda guesstimated width at about 30 inches, judging by the boards in the pix, but want to be sure I have suitable wall/floor space for one before I plunk down some cash.
Sweet work!
