Anyone interested in custom racks/storage?

Hey Rogdon. My buddy with the 350 is coming over tonight. I am going to fit my prototype 350z rack in his trunk. Just so you know.... Sorry it has taken so long. Didn't want to buy a 350 just for testing! Hehe....

i could even put some junk in the middle between the boards. ( any way you could make mini compartments or separators? hahaha) nand we also mentioned it being carpeted right?

I made a rack in about an hour with some plywood and random 2 by 1 board I had laying around. It has four slots and can accommodate both my GFH pigme and my larger boards with no problem. No sexy wall mounts, but cheap and does the job surprisingly well.

Rogdon - Prototype. Not finished. It will be carpeted with salt and pepper gray automotive carpet. It will have a bottom as well, so you can throw stuff in it between the boards. Like gloves, bushings, etc... Be patient, now that I know it fits, i can finish it up.

Here are some photos of my board rack. Simple, and isn't very good looking, but does the job. I probably should line it with carpet, but don't really feel the need if I put the boards in gently grip down. There is my pigme on top, a friends bustin on the bottom, a slot for my evo that arrives on Thursday, and my sector nine board that I mounted the trucks drop through and as a result had to cut massive cutouts. The latter was due to board ordering and shipping anxiety. They really need a pill for that.
I can easily make plans/more pics if anyone wants them.

Awesome man! Glad to see people being industrious. Looks like it works well. I put my boards in "grip down" as well. Keeps them from getting too banged up.

I hate ordering new stuff, I always second guess myself unless I have ridden it before...

Rodgon - Ok, so now that I shipped it to your old house (whoops) and you have reclaimed it, how is it working out?

Also had a couple of other folks get theirs as well. I like to hear how they have worked out. I need to build another round. I have completely run out of racks and materials. Time for a home depot trip.
