The wider platform (love it) and concave just behind the trucks give so much extra leverage, I think I'll have to deviate from the purple/orange sabre combo. Otherwise, when I start really cranking some carves coming down my street, I'm probably gonna get rail bite. Tonight I'll switch to the purple sabre barrel bottom with a red randal cone top. I've found that to be loverly on a couple of other setups.

Spent a couple of hours fooling around this afternoon. Went through a couple of tweaks on bushings.

I finally pulled those Plasmas and put some black 77m/78a Landy Hawgs on it. Magic!! I gave those Plasmas a fair chance. They look great but for me and my streets... they suck like Speedvents. They pushed slow, didn't like to hold speed and transmitted alot of the rough pavement through.

The UNF felt twice as fast on the Hawgs. I'm really stoked on this deck now. I also cut two strips of clear grip and put them between the logo in the midle and the black grip on the outside. The last thing I did was to tape off the letters and black grip and spray the clear grip with some red METALS.

There's something about this deck that just settles my feet into perfect position everytime.

I absolutely want another one. Ha! I'd like a yellow one to set up on yellow painted Bennetts and a purple one with hybrid 215's and Grapey Apes.

imo, the "nelson longboards" text would look great on the bottom (because most of the time you'll want to cover the top with grip)

Good call, currently the graphic is just the same as the carbon dropthough, since for the first was i was just modifying the carbon dropthough shape and layup. I'll have to think a bit on a new graphic.

Sweet, I'm glad you liking the board. I got your e-mail an put you on the list. in about two weeks or so im going to have a 2 week building hiatus for my college finals, so i can probably get to those builds after that.

Its coming along great, just finished laying up the last of the composites this morning, so it should be done in a few days. just have to figure out if im shipping it, or if you want to meet up for a sesh like this weekend or something.

thanks man, I was just about to reply to your massage. it would be the same as the regular carbon dropthrough. I don't think i would be able to get it to you in time for christmas, since soon i have to take a 2 week break from building. and theres a few people ahead of you on the list. I'll let you know what the deal is after i talk to them though.

Btw if you havn't heard of dropbox you should check it out, its basically a program that creates a folder on your computer, that you can copy files into and its hosts them online so you can have access to them any where. This is awesome if you have multiple computers because any files you put into the folder will sync and be on both. you can also share folders with other people which works well for my school projects.

DropBox is a cool utility to DropShots. Sure makes it easier. I'll dump pics off my camera downstairs, go through and edit, start dropbox, drag and drop all the pics onto it then walk away. By the time I flush the toilet, raid the fridge, get upstairs on bed with my laptop and open it up, the pics are loaded and I'm ready to share.

Thanks, thats a 40" carbon drop through for partninjas, and a phoenix hybrid. I did something new on the top of the CD as well which i'm pretty excited about, so once I finish it in a few days ill post up some more shots.
