This is Texas calling are we reaching? What in the samhill did ya'll think you were doing sending the wild one over here to disrupt our downhome podunk ways? How in the tarnation do ya'll put up with him on a regular basis. I think we spent 4 or 5 days together and I was glad to see him go just so I could get some rest and quiet time.

Anywho Chris blessed me with one of his skog decks and I need help setting it up. I'm 255lbs. of swinging gut and up until now been mostley DH'n and carvin with more speed in mind. But I'm digging the deck now even set up not so right.

Logan Legends examining the board I ripped thru Hensleys on. They saw the GALAC POD in action around the pool tables and whizzing around the bar and waitresses and they had to see the design in action by someone who's beat the #### out of it on top to bottom steep hills, bowls and thru demanding tight slalom courses. They were in awe and want to meet for some real time action in the next few weeks. The POD is a serious board to learn switch stance faster since the wheel base doesn't rely on a wide displacement of feet to compensate for ineptitude. It's way easier to learn switch stance on the POD.

    Hey guys,
I am new to silverfish. I am apart of the freebord community if that means anything to you... Anyways, my regular skateboard got stolen, or I just can't find it, and I have been scouring the net for something that will let me shred concrete the same way (similar) to how I ride the waves. I came across galac like 5 mins ago, and the website has me excited. It seems like a perfect match for me, as I just want to pump and carve my sidewalks and driveways. Got a few questions that may kill the excitement... When I purchase a deck, are the trucks purchased seperately? K, i guess that was the only question.

To my knowledge, Galac doesn't offer completes. Just decks and the Galacized Bennetts.

John will piece your boards together in a CNC fashion. He's a custom/handmade guy and has built me boards complete the way I like them. He doesn't offer them but he's a custom kind of guy that can pretty much build you anything!

OK, here is the proto of the Tracker RTS's Im Galacizing..
There is a crapload of work that goes into these, quite a bit more than
goes into one of my Bennetts...
This was a 106mm RTS, milled down to 100mm, with detailing
donw in the recessed areas of the hanger... Butter smooth and
feel like a Ferrari under your rear foot...
This has the precision Spacer/rings I did awhile back (not for sale - yet)

Very legit question... I guess the best way I can explain it all is this:
The birch I use, the shape and intended function of the board, the way
that I make them.. When I make a deck, it's more akin to the way a surfboard
is made from a blank chunk of foam. The care and time that I put into
each and every board, including the paint, the finish, and the way I do my graphics.
I currently know of no one else that is doing graphics using the methods
that I use to make them happen... Some people think my graphics are done
using voodoo and sacrificing chickens... My graphics are done using acetate,
somewhat like a single animation cell on the bottom of your deck..
The end result: a handmade, hand finished work..
Don from Loaded thought my boards were made out of some kind of resin
or plastic the first time he felt one..

Well I was planning to order one of your boards John, but as luck would have it I ended up buying a previously owned but hardly run one from ameangreenbean (Steve) from Florida I'm psyched to have a dedicated Pump board now and hope it helps me learn the motions ASAP. I'll be Land Paddling with it until I can get the Pump stoke going. Any advice is always welcome. I believe this board was ordered a little thicker so what might you suggest if anything at all to compensate for the stiffer board. I'm not lightweight, but I am about 75lbs lighter then the previous owner. I plan to do the Ultraskate in April with your board if the stinkin snow would stop so I can start training.

BTW - Don't forget to come on over to Land Paddling - NO WAVES, NO WATER, NO WORRIES and become a member. I took that site over from Steve and hope to have it exploding with activity very soon. Redesigned it and already have a bunch of members without even advertising it. I have your free banner ad up so I hope it brings you some business

Thanks for the compliment on the Land Paddling site!

Do you prefer running the wheels in the rear reversed on your boards for some reason, narrower? It came with the rear seismics reversed and I wanted to see if that was prefered or just a mistake during assembly. It also had the harder purple 77mm wheels mounted in the rear and the softer blue 77mm up front which I believe is incorrect/backwards.

I have a set of 78mm orange blast waves I'd like to try, do you see any issues running them for paddling and the blue/purple speed vents for pumping?

    Thanks,

    Mooney
