RIGHT ON! and so true. That statement is aimed at the "average" skater, and based on customer feedback. We are just trying to make the most honest recommendations for the happiest customer.
I have been loving my 4 ply for a couple years and I am 225 lbs. Foot position and stance have huge effects on the flex. Narrow foot stance and a heavier rider can get a noodle feel. However, when I really get in the carving zone on my 4 ply, I get rail bite, but it is not a bad thing to me. The rail just touches on the ground, scrapes, and I keep on carving....hard...sinking my feet into the deck flex. To me, the battle scars on the deck have character.
Thanks for the heads-up about this question and we are super happy yours is a great fit for you. I am glad that the video does more showing than telling about the flex. Every skater has their own preference and they can get a feel from the video.

Re: Gbomb Cambiar Specifications
I have had mine for about 2 months now give or take, and absolutely adore it.
would be interested in checking out the 15mm brackets for the extra leverage, but i generally pump to maintain a high speed, right now my wheels on the back are total failures for this and almost killed me, so ill prob move to inheats all around or avillas, lime bigs if need be.
thanks mark for making such an interesting, innovative, and versatile product, its come to letting my un-experienced friends borrow my dervish while i rip on the GBomb as the way i have it set is a little more scary for some people.
also, for the 5.0 bennetts, i didnt have a 1/4 riser around, so i used the base plate from a 6.0 on the front to stop wheel bite with 75mm big zigs.
how has the general response been to the 15mm brackets, with the egg shape, for pumping set up?

Re: Gbomb Cambiar Specifications
I recently set up my Cambiar with Revenge trucks. The combination turns it into an absolute carving machine. It pumps like a dream and the turning radius is insanely small. Truly awesome!

FYI the Seismic speed vents are awesome wheels in a G-Bomb Setup for the higher speed pumping you speak of (just a suggestion)
