I got my order, first impressions, good placement on the palm puck, nice job on the velcro and such, they look very legit, palm puck initially feels a bit small (but I can't blame him for not using a huge amount of DelrinAF or w/e it is, mucho expensive) but the placement in combination with the finger pucks make it feel perfectly fine. I have the cheaper cowhide gloves and they feel very comfortable and the pullstring is indeed very good at holding the gloves on the hands. I'm gonna slide on them later tonight and gonna post a better review of how the mudstones actually slide tomorrow. So overall, i'm quite happy.

I also got a set of greenhorns and those pucks are pretty much the perfect size for downhilling and stuff (which is what I will probably do on friday pending rain.

Expect review of how they are in action tomorrow.

Haha yeah, the next size up in the DelrinAF is 3.5" dia. And it literally doubles in price!
3" dia must be a standard size

BOOM! Amazingly fast delivery from Mr jmasta means I have just recieved my gloves in the UK!

I got some mechanix gloves, greenhorn and mudstone palm pucks and...due to a slight shipping delay, some free greenhorn thumb and finger pucks! (wah0000!)

Literally just took them out of the parcel here so, first impressions:
- Packaged very nicely, solid parcel and bubble wrap.
- Nice chap put them down as $50 value and 'gift' so no customs!
- First thing I thought about the greenhorns were "These bad boys look MEATY!", nice and thick, roughtly 10mm less diameter than the grey loaded pucks, but probably 5mm thicker (not accurate, my loaded pucks have worn down to less than 2mm now, so I'm guessing)
- Next I had a look at the mudstones, smaller than the greenhorns and about 2-3mm thinner. They look tasty for some tech sliding though.
- Velcro used is powerful, very strong hold on the glove on both the palm and finger pucks.
- Velcro looks WELL glued on, lots of glue in just the right places, very solid.
- Minimal velcro coverage on the actual glove, but put in just the right place.
- Nice lil pull tag to help get the gloves on yer hands (makes life easier when youve already got one on!)

Next thing was to put them on:
- These gloves feel amazing!
- Slight padding in the palm area for max comfort.
- Really, REALLY good fit, its like a second skin! Super comfortable with lots of flexibility for yer fingers.
- With the greenhorn palm puck on, I have a good inch clearance between my hand and the ground, very minimal risk of ripping up the glove methinx.
- Both sets of pucks feel super comfortable when pressed on a surface with the glove on (like when riding), the smallness isn't an issue (mudstones), but it makes me think they will be FAST and SLIPPERY.
- Lots of nice strong leather arond the palm side and finger area of the gloves.
- Groovy plastic backing on the back of the glove for protection against minor scrapes and slams.

These gloves/pucks are obviously home made, but they feel better than both the gardening gloves and lush gloves I have tried. More minimal, more flexible, more comfortable and you know you're supporting a fellow skater! (Although I'd just like to say I love the Lush gloves too, I've had 2 pairs and they are super sick! Plus the guys down there are legends)

From rubbing the pucks on my desk here, the Mudstones feel SIGNIFICANTLY SLICKER than the greenhorns, I'm super excited to try them out!

I'll be giving these a good thrashing on a variety of surfaces and styles through the coming weeks. Expect to see a review on Canterballs Longboarding - Canterbury Kent Longboard Crew in the near future!

So I did some sliding today on them and this is what I thought:

So as you can see, I didn't even make a dent into them and I did not treat them lightly, i'm quite happy. They're as slick as Delrin but they feel a bit different, sort of a harder kind of feeling and there is pretty much no material taken off the pucks, i'm pretty impressed. Video to be up later.

(note: i'm using mudstones) My second test was for these gloves to go through a watchtower session. I stayed for two hours, skated pretty hard, flatspotted the crap out of 2 wheels and the gloves are not worn down. I only smoothed out the pattern that the saw made when the pucks were cut, and in parts that pattern is still there. I have never had pucks survive a watchtower session without any noticeable wear, but these had pretty much none (with the exception of some material scrapped off on the edges).

Expect a vid later (i'm skating a lot during my spring break).

Duarte, I haven't had a chance to work on it in awhile.... I've been too busy crankin out slide gloves! Haha I'm gonna have to start hiring employees... this one-man operation is a lot of work!

Took the mechanix, mudstones and greenhorns to the Greenwich slide jam in London last weekend. Very very pleased with the gloves.

Tried the mudstones first, they are REDICULOUSLY slick. Too slick for me, I need a small amount of resistance. If you want the fastest, slickest puck out there, get mudstones. For me, I slapped back on the greenhorns as they are similar to the grey loaded pucks I was using before. they are AWESOME. Just totaly natural, no break in time, just did the job straight away.

Only issue I had was that the thumb puck kept folding on me, but I changed the positioning and all was good again. Everyone at the jam was very impressed with the gloves and I've already got people messaging me on facebook asking where to get em.

Oh they turn your hands orange after a while too hahaha I thought I was melting in the sun!
