I swear there is some Hospital IT following me around blocking sites

Facebook worked up until yesterday.... now is blocked under "Social Networking"
Vimeo worked once.... now is blocked under "Social Networking"
DaddiesBoardShop used to work until 5 minutes ago..... now is blocked under "Sports"

come guys, if you're going to hold me hostage, at least let me dream up new setups and watch killer skate videos. they probably think it is some intern slacking off. I wonder how many patients in the hospital have laptops? considering all my "neighbors" are like 65+, I'm guessing not many

excuse my rant.... but they blocked facebook, so this was the next "rant-worthy" locale

Doctors still have no idea what's going on with me.... but I'm feeling much better! just bored out of my mind. killed off a bunch of emails today, and should get to the rest of them soon

If I'm feeling this good tomorrow, I'm going to have someone haul in my gloves and I'll open shop right here in my hospital bed!!

that's funny part. they still don't have a definitive answer. I'm remarkably better and almost pain-free. I'm being released tomorrow and still don't know what happened

Did you rip a big paint peeling fart today? No really, did you? Gas or pre-Montezuma's Revenge-cramps have doubled me up once or twice before. Just sure there's probably a terminal medical reason for the pain.

...until you finally get around to pulling your cheeks apart and letting your guts fall out. Then it's all good..

I hope he checks back in. If anyone has his celly or something, they should give him a ring. He was saying the hospital was gradually locking him out of stuff. He might be blocked out of the fish now until he get back out in the wide open spaces.

I got released from the hospital Saturday afternoon, but basically spent all day sleeping (until the trick-or-treaters woke me up). I still get real light-headed and nauseous from being on my feet more than a few minutes, so the pucks are going to have to wait a little longer. Hopefully I'll be able to start going back to school... might be laid up in bed a few more days though

Hope you all had a crazy Halloween! Mine was far too tame... and far too sober!

Sorry this is a reply to an old post but Safari is generally not a standard browser and most companies only work to support Internet Explorer and FireFox. Stick with FF on the Mac. It's probably best for most things. Also, Chrome should always be workable on Google sites, but it's not standard for most sites. It works, but isn't necessarily supported. I work on testing/breaking web sites, so it's my job to know what browsers are heavily used. The most used browsers are the ones most supported.

At any rate, just finished reading all 41 pages of this thread and I like what I've read about the gloves. I'll probably buy a pair sometime next year. I have taxes, XMas, birthdays, travel expenses, and a number of other fun financial things coming up in my near future, so unfortunately new skate gear is out for a while for me.

Best of luck Jeff. Glad to see you're feeling better. You'd better get on the ball and make your company official by hiring a couple peeps! You're demand is definitely there, the pricing seems right from the consumer's perspective. Go for it, man! You also might want to talk with Pete from Rainskates in AK. He's an awesome guy and is also totally out there on his own making skateboard wheels. You guys can probably share some entrepreneurial tips, wisdom, and experiences.

Also, if you can get your production levels up, you can start pushing your gloves in other places. I'd start with eBay like RainSkates. Amazon's also prime for being a vendor. But you know those weak ass Bossco Shred'rs slide gloves that there's an insane post about here on Silverfish? They're currently being sold on gonbot.com. The point being that you can get your stuff retailed even if it's crappy. Considering what I've read, you're only REAL concern is keeping up with production.

As far as getting your website running, it may be more of a waste of time getting it going given your computer situation. Focus on the business and you can pay someone to build it and host it for you as soon as you have the $$.
