surgery was really invasion but went well

they had to take out a section of my small intestine and then sew it back together. also took out a chuck of my colon

I've now got a 6" vertical incision running straight through my belly button. They gave me some killer drugs but it is still excruciating every time i move. probably gonna be stuck here for a few more days at least

gettin out of the hospital tomorrow

Today they took out my IV and "installed" this flexible one that can stay in for months....called a PICC tube. They basically threaded it into my vein near by elbow, and used a computer to follow the vein and connect the tube directly to my heart. I can now draw blood and get antibiotics intravenously (or heroin

) without getting poked with a needle

anyway, I'd never seen or heard of anything like this, so I thought i'd share it with ya'all

orders will resume shipping on Monday!

I think my boss's son had one of those when he was younger or something similar. The boy's a hemophiliac. I can't imagine sticking a child with a needle regularly. It must've sucked.
