anyone personally know him? or know someone who does? just to give him a nudge to remind him about uss!

I've had a few conversations with him online and figure I have a good rapport with him, but he hasn't really been materializing much this semester. I can only imagine school's whupping his butt.
My advice is to remain patient. Good things come to those who wait. I know it sounds nuts and it may take a while for him to rematerialize, but when he does and he gets you your order, you'll be way stoked.
Please keep in mind that Jeff is NOT some large manufacturing company. He's one guy and one peon working in his garage up in Wyoming while attending the university. While he originally thought he could manufacture slide gloves and distribute them for cheaper than other professional companies and produce them at higher quality, I think he didn't realize how much time it would take to run a side business while attending school.
Obviously, when it comes to the decision between school and work, school is probably the better choice to win out since it will pay the bills in the long run.
Even I've found my own patience tested, but please keep in mind that he's a really good guy producing great products. If he hasn't gotten back to you, I'm sure there's a durn good reason.

Also keep in mind that this business does not have much money in it (think about it). It's good to have a nice amount of pocket change, but nothing that is going to pay his student loans off or anything. I don't buy from him because he is this big popular company, I buy (as well as ride) for/from him because the stuff he has made is truly innovative. Never in my life had I been able to find a puck that didn't stick or melt until I bought a pair of mudstones.

So yea, be patient, he has other things that are more important (i'm sure he wants to have bright future, school is the key to that). I'll try to get in touch with him and i'll report back here.

Sorry guys, I've been out of touch for a minute. I got slammed with midterms last week and have been out of town all week for spring break. This is really the first chance I've had to sit down in front of a computer, and I'll be catching up on emails today.... I have a whole box full of completed gloves ready to go, just need to make the pucks to go with them

and in other news.... I've been riding the carbon kevlar gloves a bit.... and hot dayumm... they are sick! I'll get some pics up when I get home

Shipping to the UK for one pair of gloves is $10.76. However, I can fit two pairs (or one pair plus extra pucks) in a flat-rate envelope, so shipping would only be $13.45 for both pairs

I brutalised me mudslide pucks yesterday on some seriously gnarly hills way out of my comfort zone. 30-40foot shutdown slides on a road about a quarted of the width of a US one with blind corners, skettchhyy! One of them finally got ripped off the velcro after about a year of riding, didn't notice and trie to slide on it... that did not work well.

At any rate, I'm glad you're back up and hope you had some good time off. On another note, I LOVE my gloves. I've been sliding the hell out of them the past few days. I've noticeably worn down my 48mm Slide A's but the greenhorns show a few scratches. I think I'm in love.
